About Estudio Sampere

Alberto and Isabel Sampere pioneered Spanish language teaching in the 1950s and established the first Estudio Sampere in Madrid in 1956.
The Sampere family has been running this independent school focusing on quality Spanish courses for 60 years now. In the 21st Century, the third Sampere generation is working to offer the best options to study Spanish in Spain and Latin America.

Each one of these schools offers a different advantage for learning Spanish. You can study in Madrid, Salamanca, or Alicante, in Spain, Cuenca (Ecuador), or in Havana (Cuba). You can also combine destinations.

International Association of Language Centres IALC - International Association of Language Centres

Founded in 1983, the International Association of Language Centres (IALC) is a network of high-quality, independent language schools teaching their native language to international students.
IALC was the inspiration of Alberto Sampere. A pioneer of Spanish language training in Spain, Alberto served as the first IALC President and

later as the Association's Honorary Life President and Ombudsman. All Estudio Sampere schools are inspected regularly by IALC, which demands strict quality standards and has a code of ethics.
Estudio Sampere Spain (Madrid, Alicante, Salamanca), Ecuador and Cuba are members of IALC.

Cervantes Institute Instituto Cervantes

The Cervantes Institute is a worldwide organization created by the Spanish government in 1991. This organization is responsible for promoting the study and the teaching of Spanish language and culture.

Our Estudio Sampere schools in Spain (Alicante, Madrid and Salamanca) are accredited by the Cervantes Institute.

AATSP AATSP - American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese

The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) was founed in December 1917. The organization promotes the study and teaching of the Spanish and Portuguese languages and their corresponding Hispanic,

Luso-Brazilian and other related literatures and cultures at all levels of education.
Estudio Sampere is also a member of AATSP.


FEDELE is the Spanish Federation of Associations of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language and it consists of seven associations, which in turn comprise a total of 90 Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language.

FEDELE's main objective is to promote a status of quality in the Teaching of Spanish in Spain. All federated schools have obtained the quality stamp in the field of Spanish Teaching (Accreditation Certificate from Instituto Cervantes).
