University Preparation Course

Spanish + University foundation, Madrid and Alicante

This course is designed for students who want to enter Spanish Public University after the secondary (high-school) school in their home country.

Estudio Sampere offers a special preparation programme to improve their Spanish level and to prepare for their University access test, which is known as Selectividad or PAEU (Prueba de Acceso a Estudios Universitarios) in order to be able to enter a Spanish public university.

This programme includes:

• 1. Language Training for 8-16 weeks
• 2. University Foundation Course for 30 weeks
• 3. Registration for Selectividad Exam.
• 4. Academic support

1. Language Training

In order to join the University Foundation Course, students must reach at least upper intermediate level (B2) of Spanish. Depending on your current Spanish level, you will join Intensive Spanish Class at Estudio Sampere for 8-16 weeks.

2. University Foundation Course (Selectividad Course)

Centro de Estudios Mirasierra (Madrid) and Centro ADOS (Alicante) offer a specialized Selectividad preparation course for many years. Centro de Estudios Mirasierra runs Selectividad programs for both Spanish and foreign students for over 25 years, and students will be mixed with Spanish students for some classes.

Both schools cover the below subjects to prepare Selectividad exam:

3. Registration for Selectividad Exam

The University Foundation Course (Selectividad preparation course) begins in October, in ordrer to prepare for the Selectividad exam in June. Once you have passed the exam, you can apply for courses at Spanish universities. If you fail the exam in June or receive a low grade you can still re-take the exam in September.

4. Academic support

Both Estudio Sampere and Centro de Estudios Mirasierra (or Centro ADOS) offer an academic support during a whole course period.
